The Shisanyama Awards celebrates establishments that provide shisa nyama to
South Africans. It is an award that recognises and rewards excellence in food, venue ambience and service. The awards aims to celebrate our culture and to stimulate business to shisa nyama establishments.

The judging process and judging panel has been organised by Ingrid Shevlin; a journalist with 30 years experience and the person responsible for the Cafe Society Awards, which is today in its 17th year.
